Three Teenagers Hurt in Accident

Three teenagers were hurt in an Beaver County accident recently.  One of the teenagers was in critical condition following the accident. 

The individual in critical condition was an 18 year-old from Ohio.  The girl was taken to St. Elizabeth Health center after the Saturday accident.  

According to reports,  the driver of the car turned into the path of another car.  The driver of the other car did not have any injuries, but the passenger had minor injuries from the accident.

Body Recovered After Accident

The body of a woman had been recovered following a motorcycle accident that took place on Tuesday night.  Authorities and officials were able to remove the woman's body from the Schuylkill River. 

A man was driving the motorcycle that the woman was riding on, and he was taken to a hospital to be treated for his injuries.  His condition is not currently available.  

The accident is also currently under investigation.  Some believe that motorcycles were racing before the accident took place.  One motorcycle could have possibly left the scene after the accident occurred.

2 Men Killed in Sports Car

Two individuals have been killed in Philadelphia in a high speed crash.  One was a 29 year-old former police officer, and the other a 60 year-old man, were killed after they crashed in a rented 2005 Lamborghini.  The Lamborghini was rented to celebrate the fifth wedding anniversary of the man and his wife. 

It is suspected that the man was speeding when he lost control of the vehicle.  The vehicle crossed into oncoming traffic, and then hit a minivan and another car. 

The driver in the minivan was seriously injured in the accident, and the other driver had onl minor injuries.

Motorcycle Accident Kills One, Seriously Injures Another

Last Saturday,  a motorcycle accident occurred around Darlington, Pennsylvania which killed one individual and seriously injured the other. 

The motorcycle had two individuals on it at the time.  One individual was a 38 year old male, and the other rider was a female.  The accident took place Saturday night around 11:30 p.m.  The accident occurred when , for unknown reasons, the driver lost control of the bike and went off road.

The two occupants on the motorcycle were ejected from the vehicle.  The woman was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, and the man was taken to a hospital where he was listed in critical condition.  The status of the man is not known right now.

Autopsy to Occur for Man Killed by Bus

An autopsy is scheduled to occur for a 79 year-old man who was killed after falling and being hit by a Port Authority of Allegheny County bus.

The man was apparently attempting to get on the bus, and was running along-side it outside hitting it.  The man then fell and then was struck by the wheels of the bus.

The driver of the bus at the time of the accident has been placed under paid leave.  Authorities will conduct an investigation to determine the cause of the accident and to determine if the driver was at fault.

Woman and Three Children Killed in Accident

A woman and three children have been killed in an accident that was caused by two men accused of stealing a motorcycle. 

As the two men were attempting to flee, one in a car and another on the motorcycle,  the man in the car lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a crowd of individuals that were in front of a house.  

Police state that no skid marks were discovered at the scene, which indicates that the driver did not hit the brakes in an attempt to stop.   The driver was arrested shortly after the accident.

Man in Critical Condition After Accident

A 33 year-old man is in critical condition after being struck by a car on Saturday.  The man was struck on Route 13 in Bensalem. 

The man was taken to a hospital in Philadelphia where he was being treated for his injuries.  

The accident is currently under investigation.  

This is one of many accidents involving pedestrians that have occurred in recent years.  It is important that if you are on the side of the road,  that you move over as much as possible.  If a car is out of control,  you will stand a better chance the further away from the road.

Drag Racing Responsible for Death of Woman

Police are looking for the individuals who were responsible for the death of a woman in Philadelphia in the early morning hours of Wednesday. Shortly after midnight,  a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle that was drag racing against another vehicle.  The woman who was struck and killed was only 30 years-old. 

Police state that after striking the pedestrian, the cars racing did not stop to render aid. 

Police are asking anyone with information on the incident to come forward.   They have described the car that struck the woman as a gold or silver Pontiac or Oldsmobile.

Police Arrest Suspect in Fatal Hit and Run

Police in Philadelphia have arrested a man that they believe was involved in a fatal hit and run that occurred on May 7th. The vehicle in the accident was a green minivan that was stolen, and police retrieved it after the accident abandoned.

After a month of investigating and not many other leads, the man involved voluntarily turned himself into authorities.  He told authorities that he was the driver involved in the accident.  The man has been charged with vehicular homicide and other charges.
