An accident recently took place in west Philadelphia that resulted in two injuries.  The accident occurred early in the morning at a busy intersection over the weekend.  One individual ran a red light and struck the side of another vehicle causing both vehicles to spin out in the intersection.

Two individuals in the vehicle struck were not wearing seatbelts at the time of the accident.  These individuals sustained injuries from the accident and were taken to a hospital.  The driver responsible for the accident was cited.

The winter weather was responsible for multiple accidents that took place over the weekend.  One of the accidents over the weekend involved a SEPTA bus.  The accident involving the SEPA bus injured at least 10 individuals on the bus. 

The weather was generally worse in the north part of the city when compared to the other areas of the city. The weather is expected to continue to get worse as the winter season continues. Cautious and defensive driving will be important during this winter weather to help prevent many serious accidents from occurring over the holiday season.

A pedestrian has recently been killed in northeast Philadelphia following an accident that took place.  The man who was killed was 54 years-of-age at the time of his death.   According to reports,  the man was walking across the street when a vehicle struck the man. The man was about a block away from his house when the fatal accident took place.

Authorities are investigating the accident currently.  The man's name has not yet been released as the family has not yet been notified.

A school bus in Western Pennsylvania recently went off road and into a ditch.  The accident caused minor injuries to the students who were on the bus at the time of the accident. Several students were taken to a hospital to be treated for the relatively minor injuries sustained in the accident. The accident occurred early in the morning on Tuesday around 8:00 a.m.

The accident is currently under investigation.  No serious injuries were reported in the accident.
