One person died and another two are in the hospital following a tragic, single-vehicle accident which occurred in Southwest Philadelphia just after 3 am on Tuesday.
According to police reports, the vehicle was traveling south on Coobs Creek Parkway when it lost control, hit a curb, and struck a tree. The car then rolled down a hill. Two passengers were ejected from the vehicle. The man who was driving the car and the woman who was the front-seat passenger were taken to the hospital, where they were treated for their injuries. The third occupant died in the accident.
